Baahubali 2 is creating history with its box-office collection. The Beginning, which released in 2015, became one of the highest grossing Indian films and raked in Rs 650 crore worldwide. It looks like the first part is a miniscule compared to The Conclusion, in terms of scale and box-office figures. On Friday, the Prabhas-starrer witnessed 90 per cent occupancy in theatres. According to Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, the film netted Rs 121 crore on its opening day in India. Baahubali: The Conclusion, which received rave reception from critics and audience, crossed the Rs 200 crore mark on Saturday. However, as per trade pundits, Baahubali 2 has more than Rs 300 crore in 2 days and is marching towards Rs 400 crore.
